Government of Japan Scholarship Opportunity for International Undergraduate Students &Nigerian Immigration Service Recruitment

The Government of Japan through its Ministry of Education , Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is offering an undergraduate scholarship opportunity for International student from locations or countries which have bilateral relationship with Japan.

Course requirements:

This scholarship is granted to student going into the fields of Natural Sciences or Social sciences.

Scholarship slots: This was unspecified

Scholarship Amount:

The benefits of this scholarship includes Tuition plus other fees and an allowance of 117,000 yen per month is paid, for student undertaking research in designated regions, an additional 2000 or 3000 yen is paid. The benefits also includes travel allowance to and fro Japan.

Location: Applicants for this scholarship must be from a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan. Note that a Japanese citizen is not eligible for this scholarshi, except he or she has dual nationality.

Screening: Screening of applicants will be done in Japanese Mission at the applicant’s home country.

Academic Background: The candidate is expected to have completed at least 12 years of schooling or should have done so by March 2018.

Age: Candidate should be born between 2nd April, 1996 and 1st April, 2001

Deadline: The deadline for this scholarship opportunity varies by country
