What the Graduate Trainee – Fleet Controller Will Do

The successful candidates will assist with the supervision and monitoring of fleet activities and delivery operations.

Their responsibilities are expected to include:

• Monitoring delivery officers while they are on assigned trips and following up on delivery progress.
• Using GPS and fleet management systems to track trucks and monitor their movements.
• Identifying delivery delays, route deviations, and other issues that may affect transportation operations.
• Communicating with delivery personnel to obtain updates on active trips.
• Monitoring vehicle turnaround times and helping identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency.
• Assisting in preparing daily fleet reports, dashboards, and other operational records.

• Supporting the supervisor with additional logistics, transportation, and fleet-related duties when required.

Requirements

Applicants for the Leventis Graduate Trainee – Fleet Controller position should meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of post-graduation work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Completion of the NYSC programme, with either an NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate.
