These skills refer to behavioral skills, which are usually acquired outside the school or university sphere. There are two common ways to refer to these skills, which are: human skills and behavioral skills.
In both cases, the term “soft skills” is most often used in the plural since it is quite rare to mention only one of these skills. Example: “The job offer that was advertised defines the soft skills essential for the position”.
