Job Title: Procurement Assistant
Location: Lagos

Job Details
- Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services according to company requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries. Maintain uptodate records of vendor contracts and performance.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers, ensuring accuracy in pricing, terms, and delivery dates.
- Assist in preparing regular procurement reports, tracking spending, and ensuring budget compliance.
- Suggest ways to improve procurement efficiency and contribute to the optimization of the supply chain.
- Work closely with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Assist with inventory tracking and stock management to ensure adequate supplies and minimize shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including invoices, receipts, and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain support is preferred but not required.
- SSCE Certificate or equivalent; a Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and problemsolving ability.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
