Product Manager, Wallet Acquisition at a Leading Commercial Bank

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Manager, Wallet Acquisition

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures implementation of Wallet acquisition strategies to meet defined targets. 
  • Manages assigned channels of Wallet acquisition to ensure target achievement by the Business Units.
  • Generates ideas to develop products and channels for Wallet acquisition.
  • Analyses performances along Wallet activations to generate insights for decision-making
  • Presents daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports across Wallet activation Channels to track target achievement.
  • Relates with field sales officers to resolve/escalate issues so set targets are achieved.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of issues/enquiries to satisfy internal customers to ensure the Bank is Top 3 in customer service. 
  • Maintains security of information in line with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook. 
  • Mine and pool customer data to track behaviors and design strategies for engagement. 
  • Online marketing and customer acquisition.
  • Data mining and interpretation for business development.
  • Responsible and accountable for risk management of his/her business. 
  • Work with the BUs to identify new markets that present opportunities for business.
  • Consistently review the existing Products/Channels (monthly, Quarterly and Annually).
  • Attend and make presentations at various SBUs monthly/quarterly performance review sessions. 
  • Be a part of the technical implementation of products and channels by contributing to design, participation at UATs and Pilot Testing Exercises.
  • Design Business Requirement Documents for implementations.
  • Increase value derived from customer by devising strategies and processes that encourage upwards migration across Firstmonie Wallet Tiers.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Personal Banking. 
  • Develop & implement strategies for the effective monitoring/tracking of Products.
  • Work closely with M&CC, BU and other stakeholders to ensure FirstBank’s Consumer 
  • products are highly visible in the market. 
  • Coordination of market storms and other marketing drives to acquire new accounts.
  • Initiate promotional activities/schemes in conjunction with reputable auto & equipment 
  • vendors that are aimed at selling these products in a smart and creative manner. 
  • Serve as a contact person for resolution of acquisition channel issues/challenges.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum Education: First Degree in any relevant discipline. 
  • Higher degrees /MBA/professional certifications compulsory

Experience:

  • Minimum experience: 2 years of general banking experience.
