Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead, Quality Assurance to champion QA practices across our engineering teams. This role combines technical mastery, leadership, and strategic vision to ensure product quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA initiatives across multiple engineering teams, establishing scalable quality standards and frameworks.
• Mentor QA Analysts and Engineers, fostering growth and performance improvement.
• Develop and enforce robust test strategies: manual, automated, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Create meaningful dashboards to track QA metrics: test coverage, bug leakage, and regression rates.
• Collaborate with engineers to review requirements, documentation, and code quality.
• Drive continuous QA process and tooling improvements.
• Ensure QA team has deep product knowledge to deliver relevant, user-focused testing.
• Promote a quality-first culture in partnership with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering, with 4–5 years leading high-performing teams.
• Strong Java programming skills and experience with automation tooling.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile, and web applications.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and cloud platforms (GCP, Docker).
• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and pub-sub technologies.
• Experience with non-functional testing: performance, security, monitoring.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Familiarity with AI/ML testing tools is a plus.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, technical expertise, and mentorship capabilities.
