We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Representative
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary
- The role is responsible for interfacing with Trade Channel Members and selling Champion Breweries brands to appointed Distributors, Bulk Breakers, and Retailers as well as daily visits to Trade Channel Members (Distributors, Bulk Breakers, and Retailers) to ascertain their stock holding, obtain sales orders, check the status of own infrastructure (chillers/deep freeze, signage, POS materials, etc.) and deal with other issues of mutual interests.
- The Sales Representative (SR) will seek out and engage potential Trade Channel Members for mutual benefits.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals
- Sell Champion Breweries Plc Brands to existing and prospective Trade Channel Members
- Make effective sales calls daily to Trade Channel Members
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships with Trade Channel Members
- Ensure visibility of CB Brands and market share growth and Numeric Distribution (ND) in assigned sales territory
- Collate competitor reports including competition reaction reports to the Sales Admin Manager
- Organise and hold regular Sales territory meetings with Van Sales Representatives
- Analyse competitors’ sales trends and trade treated in the interest of the Champion Breweries Brands
- Organise and hold regular Sales territory meetings with Van Sales Representatives (VSRs)
- Identify / recommend the appointment of any prospective Trade Channel Members in assigned sales territory
- Partner with the Van Sales Representatives (VSRs) ensuring route compliance, use of the Journey list template, and solving problems that will be encountered by the VSR
- Accompany the VSR on route sales calls at your locality
- Collate and update sales prices for items sold by competition for area of coverage
- Manage Champion Breweries Plc Trade Infrastructure (including point of sales (POS) materials etc.) in assigned sales territory
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Marketing, Management Studies, Business Administration and other related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Van Sales Rep or Distributor Sales Rep in the FMCG Industry
