 The University of Ilorin is located in the ancient city of Ilorin, about 500 kilometres from Abuja, the Federal capital. Ilorin, the Capital of Kwara State, is strategically located at the geographical and cultural confluence of the North and South. University of Ilorin was one of the seven institutions of higher learning established by a decree of the Federal Military Government in August, 1975. This step, taken to implement one of the educational directives of the country’s Third National Development Plan, was aimed at providing more opportunities for Nigerians aspiring to acquire university education and to generate high level man-power, so vital for the rapidly expanding economy.

Job Title: Lecturer II

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field.
  • Computer literacy is required.

CONUASS 03.

  • The post is pensionable.

 

Job Title: Graduate Assistant

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Degree with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) in the relevant field.
  • Computer literacy is required.

Salary Grade
CONUASS 01.

  • Appointment is normally on probation, which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service.
  • The post is pensionable.

 

Job Title: Assistant Lecturer

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in the relevant field.
  • Computer literacy is required.

CONUASS 02.

Job Title: Lecturer I

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Candidates must normally possess a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field or Postgraduate Fellowship.
  • Computer literacy is required.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorities in the relevant field with Ph.D Degree from any reputable University with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local, national and international journals with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
  • Applicants must have had at least 6 years University full-time teaching and research experience with ability to initiate and supervise research projects.
  • Administrative experience will be an advantage.
  • Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the field.
  • Computer literacy is required.

Salary Grade
CONUASS 05.

Job Title: Professor

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorities in the relevant field with Ph.D Degree or Postgraduate Fellowship Specialist in relevant field from any reputable University with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local, national and international journals with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
  • Applicants must have had at least TEN (10) years University full-time teaching and research experience with ability to initiate and supervise research projects.
  • Administrative experience will be an advantage.
  • Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the field.
  • Computer literacy is required.

CONUASS 07.
