 Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc - Our subsidiary, Premium Edible Oils Limited (PEOPL), is one of Nigeria’s largest processor and refiner of crude palm oil, palm kernel and soybean. PEOPL is known for consistently producing a range of high-quality edible oil consumer products which include - Golden Penny Vegetable Oil, Soya Oil, Spread and Margarine. We also produce other edible oil & industrial fat derivatives for manufacturing purposes.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Clerk

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Purpose

• To cross-check all items for quality's sake and prepare good received entry for onward transfer to the account department for payment.

Responsiblities

• Support efficient inventory flow by managing the complete order cycle, from requisition to on-time delivery
• Ensure supply chain integrity by conducting detailed quality and quantity checks on all incoming goods in conjunction with the process owners
• Proactively manage inventory health by performing regular age analysis and generating reports on slow-moving or obsolete stock
• Guarantee data accuracy by taking part in the monthly physical inventories and daily cycle counts, and collaborating with Finance to resolve variances
• Expedite the movement of goods by ensuring all in-transit materials are accounted for and cleared promptly
• Responsible for safeguarding lives and property in the line of duty
• Support maintenance operations with a flawless 100% material issuance rate against work orders
• Uphold the highest standards of stock quality through systematic storage, proper environmental conditions, and rigorous FIFO implementation
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications / Experience

• OND in Purchasing & Supply, Account or Store Management
• Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience

The person must have:

• Have attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Have basic computer knowledge (MS Excel or inventory software is an advantage).
• Be trustworthy and reliable with a strong sense of accountability.
• Be physically fit to handle lifting, arranging, and stock movement.
• Have good communication skills (oral and written).
