Account Manager at Qatar Airways – Lagos

We’re looking for a high-energy, results-obsessed Account Manager to be based in Lagos and own the commercial success of our biggest corporate accounts and trade partners in Nigeria.

This Is Not Just Sales – It’s Relationship Mastery

You’ll be the face (and brain) of Qatar Airways in the market, doing work that directly impacts revenue, market share, and passenger experience:

  • Own a high-value portfolio of corporate houses, government ministries, oil & gas giants, banks, and top travel agencies.
  • Hunt new business while protecting and growing existing revenue streams.
  • Negotiate and close corporate deals, ADRs, incentive agreements, and preferential contracts that beat the competition.
  • Deliver quarterly revenue targets and beat them.
  • Design joint marketing campaigns, fam trips, and client events that turn clients into advocates.
  • Be the first responder for escalations – turning complaints into loyalty.
  • Provide weekly market intelligence on competitor fares, schedules, and strategies.
  • Work hand-in-glove with pricing, revenue management, and global sales teams to win every deal.

This is street-level aviation sales with boardroom-level impact.

Who Dominates This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree + minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in aviation, hospitality, or premium services.
  • Documented success in hitting (and exceeding) multimillion-dollar revenue targets.
  • Existing network within Nigeria’s corporate travel, oil & gas, or government sectors is a massive advantage.
  • You close deals with charm, data, and persistence – in that order.
  • Expert-level presentation skills – you can sell a 5-star experience to a CFO at 8 a.m. and a travel agent at 8 p.m.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally within Africa/Middle East.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; French is a strong plus.
