Business Development Executive at FESL

The Opportunity: Business Development Executive (2 Slots)

We are looking for proactive individuals who possess a strong blend of networking skills, sales passion, and a genuine interest in market expansion within the energy sector. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating essential client relationships, and directly fueling our company’s revenue growth. The position is Full-Time, located at Furo Ezimora Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and reports directly to the Head of Business Development.

Your Core Scope: Revenue Generation and Client Acquisition

You will be instrumental in expanding FESL's market footprint by taking ownership of the entire business development lifecycle:

  • Target Achievement: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with the clear objective of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders across the oil and gas landscape.

  • Proposal and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations. Confidently negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct crucial market research to identify emerging industry trends, competitive positioning, and untapped growth areas.

  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with our internal project and operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of secured projects.

  • Performance Tracking: Meticulously track and report on all business development activities and key performance metrics to the Head of Business Development.

Compensation & Candidate Requirements

The salary for this position is #150,000 - #200,000 per Month. To qualify, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in business development or a direct sales role. A proven ability to meet and exceed targets is mandatory. Desired skills include strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, a high level of initiative, and a result-oriented mindset. Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is a distinct advantage. Please note: this position is exclusively open to Male candidates to ensure gender balance within the team.
