Customer Support Operations Agent at Bolt
With over 3 million riders and drivers in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, and Port Harcourt, Bolt is more than a ride-hailing app — we’re the heartbeat of urban mobility. Every day we move families to school, food to tables, and dreams to reality. Behind every 4.8-star trip is a world-class support team that turns frustration into smiles in minutes.
We’re growing fast, and we need sharp, empathetic problem-solvers to join our Lagos support squad as Customer Support Operations Agents.
Your Superpower? Solving Real Problems, Fast.
No scripts. No robots. Just you, your brain, and the mission to make every rider and driver feel heard.
You’ll be doing real work from day one:
- Jump into chats, calls, and emails to fix trip issues, payment glitches, safety concerns, and everything in between.
- Calm angry drivers, reassure anxious riders, and turn negative experiences into loyal fans.
- Spot patterns, flag bugs to product teams, and suggest fixes that stop the same issue from happening 1,000 times.
- Verify documents, process refunds, and handle compensation like a pro.
- Escalate serious safety incidents with speed and care.
- Work rotating shifts (including nights and weekends) because cities never sleep.
This is high-energy, high-impact support — not a call-center grind.
Who Thrives at Bolt Support
- You type fast, think faster, and genuinely care about people.
- Minimum OND; Bachelor’s degree is a bonus but not required.
- 1–3 years in customer support (ride-hailing, e-commerce, banking, or hospitality experience = huge advantage).
- Fluent English + deep understanding of Nigerian street slang and culture.
- You stay cool when 50 chats are blowing up at once.
- Laptop + reliable internet at home (we’re hybrid, but readiness for office shifts is key).
- Bonus points: You already know the difference between “Ikeja Along” and “Oshodi Isale”.

- Full HMO from day one
- Monthly Bolt credits so you never pay for rides or food delivery again
