About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Social Growth, you will:

  • Lead the global creative direction and social strategy across multiple markets.

  • Serve as the strategic editor-in-chief for social content worldwide.

  • Mentor international social teams to produce high-impact, social-first campaigns.

  • Develop playbooks, frameworks, tools, and experimentation models that scale.

  • Drive short-form and viral video performance on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.

  • Guide best practices for influencer and creator partnerships.

  • Analyze platforms to determine investments, experiments, and scaling decisions.

  • Lead a global Viral Video Lab to uncover patterns behind high-reaching social storytelling.

Target Experience

The ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years in social strategy, content leadership, or digital campaigning

  • Proven creative direction experience for social-first media

  • A track record of viral, high-impact storytelling

  • Experience building scalable frameworks and mentoring creative teams

  • Hands-on experience rolling out social tools and experimenting with AI

  • Experience in startup-style, fast-moving environments (preferred)


Location & Working Hours

This is a full-time remote position, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) to support collaborative cross-regional communication.


Compensation & Benefits

Salary is based on an equitable, transparent pay scale and cost of labor:

  • $160,000 USD in San Francisco / New York City

  • $152,000 USD in Austin, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C.

  • $136,000 USD in all other U.S. regions

  • C$150,000 CAN in Vancouver or Toronto
