We are searching for a sharp, analytical, and people-focused Remuneration Executive II to join our Total Rewards team in Lagos. This is your chance to design, analyze, and deliver compensation & benefits frameworks that attract top talent, retain high performers, and keep us ahead in a fast-evolving energy landscape.

What You’ll Own & Achieve

  • Lead annual salary reviews, benchmarking studies, and market intelligence using the best global and local data sources (Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, etc.).
  • Design and implement variable pay programs (short- and long-term incentives, bonuses, recognition schemes) that truly drive business results.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and line managers to provide expert reward advice on job evaluation, grading, promotions, and expatriate packages.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian labor laws, tax regulations, and TotalEnergies global remuneration policies.
  • Prepare compelling Board and Executive Management presentations on remuneration trends, gender pay equity, and cost projections.
  • Drive digital transformation of reward processes (Workday enhancements, dashboards, employee self-service tools).
  • Coordinate benefits renewals (medical, pension, housing, education allowances) and vendor performance reviews.
  • Champion pay transparency, diversity & inclusion in reward decisions, and continuous improvement of our total rewards philosophy.

Who Thrives Here

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field (2:1 or higher).
  • 4–7 years of progressive compensation & benefits experience, ideally in oil & gas, consulting, or multinational environments.
  • Advanced Excel mastery + experience with HRIS (Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is a big plus).
  • Solid grasp of Nigerian tax laws, pension regulations, and job evaluation methodologies (Hay, Mercer IPE, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical mind with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – you’ll present to senior leaders regularly.
  • Professional certifications (GRPw, CCP, CMS) are advantageous but not mandatory.
