 Olam Sanyo Foods Limited wasa Nigerian joint venture between Olam International and Sanyo Foods Co. Ltd, formed to manufacture and distribute instant noodles and other packaged food products across Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. The partnership combined Olam's extensive distribution network in Africa with Sanyo Foods' expertise in noodle technology and manufacturing. The company was a significant player in the Nigerian instant noodles market, known for its"Cherie"brand, which included products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and fix issues that arise during operation to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Operation: Set up, run, and adjust machinery to produce products, often involving loading raw materials and unloading finished goods.
  • Quality control: Monitor machine operation and inspect products for defects to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Record keeping: Keep records of production data, machine performance, and any issues or defects encountered.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND / SSCE with 3 - 5 years experience.
  • Candidates must be living around apapa axis.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 / month.
