Quality Assurance Officer at NSIA-LUTH Cancer Center (NLCC)

Location: Lagos

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Health Administration).
  • A master’s degree in healthcare quality management or health administration is preferable but not required.

Professional Certifications are desirable

Quality Assurance/Quality Management Certifications

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
  • Quality Management Systems certification

Oncology-related training:

  • Basic oncology care or cancer treatment protocols

Patient Safety Certification (e.g., WHO Patient Safety Curriculum)

Work Experience

  • 2–5 years in healthcare quality assurance or clinical governance.
  • Experience in oncology or outpatient care settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with clinical audits, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Skills

  • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, ICARE standards, and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Understanding of clinical workflows in cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diagnostics).
  • Data analysis and reporting for quality indicators.
  • Excellent communication and training skills for staff compliance.
  • Salary: Industry standard / MedServe Salary Scale
