Seven-Up Bottling Company Ltd is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria, producing and distributing some of the nation’s most- loved beverages in the country like; Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea and Aquafina premium drinking water. SBC has recently entered into Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Locations: Kaduna and Kano
Job Description
- Strategically lead and manage all warehouse operations to ensure compliance with SBC’s policies and industry standards, driving efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance warehouse productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery system for packaging, raw materials, and other essential supplies, ensuring seamless integration with production schedules and minimizing downtime.
- Supervise and manage all daily warehouse activities, including product receiving, handling, storage, inventory management, and dispatch operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Lead the management and reconciliation of stock, ensuring inventory accuracy and minimizing discrepancies through regular audits and stock takes.
- Conduct regular and thorough stock takes, analyzing results to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, and report findings to senior management.
- Initiate and lead cost reduction initiatives within the warehouse, identifying areas for process optimization, waste reduction, and resource efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a scalable warehousing strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives, including the design and implementation of robust inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels in real-time, utilizing advanced tracking systems to anticipate restocking needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, supply chain management or social sciences.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the FMCG industry is a MUST
- Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to the North.
