  1. REQUIREMENTS
  1. Reader:

Candidates must possess a PhD in the relevant fields or a fellowship in a medical field, with minimum of ten (10) years of cognate teaching experience in a university.  Candidates must have a considerable background of research with a minimum of thirteen (13) publications in circulation and three (3) letters of acceptances. Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies where applicable.

  1. Senior Lecturer:

Candidates must possess a PhD degree in relevant fields or a fellowship in a medical field, with minimum of nine (9) years of cognate teaching experience in a university.  Candidates must have a considerable background of research with a minimum of eight (8) publications in circulation and two (2) letters of acceptances. Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies.

  1. Lecturer I:

Candidates must possess a PhD in the relevant fields or a fellowship in a medical field, with minimum of six (6) years of cognate teaching experience.  Candidates must have a considerable background of research with a minimum of five (5) publications in circulation and two (2) acceptances. Candidates must be registered or registrable with the relevant professional bodies where applicable.

  1. Lecturer II and Librarian II:

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in relevant fields, with minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience and three (3) publications in reputable journals.  Candidates who possess a PhD without publication are also eligible to apply.  Candidates must be registered or registrable with the relevant professional bodies where applicable.

  1. Assistant Lecturer

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant fields and must demonstrate the ability to teach and carry out research.

  1. Library II

Candidates must possess a degree in Library Science or related fields and must demonstrate ability to actively participate in the development of the University library.

  1. Laboratory Technologist I

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in relevant fields, or minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience. Must be registrable with relevant body.

  1. Laboratory Technologist II

Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma/B.Sc. and registrable with the relevant professional bodies.

  1. Systems Analysts and IT Specialists

Candidates must possess a B.Sc./HND in Computer Science; Information Technology; Cyber Security; or related discipline.

  1. Accountant I

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree from recognized institutions or 3 years cognate experience.

  1. Accountant II: Candidates must possess a degree or Higher National Diploma from recognized institutions.
  2. Administrative Officer I:

Candidates must possess a good Master’s Degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or Management Sciences from a recognized University not below 2nd Class Lower Division with 3 years cognate experience.

  1. Administrative Officer II: Candidates must possess first degrees not below Second-Class Lower division in the Humanities, Social Sciences or Management Sciences from recognized Universities with evidence of discharge certificate or exemption from NYSC.
  2. Confidential Secretary I: Candidates must possess a degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Secretarial Studies from recognized institutions of higher learning which must include typing speed of 120/50 wpm. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO Examinations which must include English Language. Relevant experience will be an added advantage.
  3. Confidential Secretary II: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from recognized institutions with at least five credits in WAEC/NECO Examinations which must include English Language plus typing speed of 120/50 wpm and a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a reputable organization or institution.
  4. Nursing Officer II

Candidates must possess a B.Sc. Nursing with RN/RM

  1. Pharmacy Technician

Candidates whos have completed the prescribed three years training programme at School of Health Technology (or OND in the relevant field) and registrable or registered with the Pharmacists Council.

  1. Executive Officer (Admin)

Candidates must possess OND in the relevant field or equivalent. In addition, candidates must possess 5 credits, including English, and Mathematics at one sitting.

  1. Executive Officer (Accounts)

Candidates must possess OND (Accounting) from a recognized institution plus WAEC, NECO or GCE in at least 5 papers including English Language at one sitting.
