Job Title: Junior RMG Manager

Role Purpose

The Junior RMG Manager will support strategic commercial decision-making through robust pricing and revenue growth analysis. The position involves deep financial and sales data assessment to enhance portfolio profitability while optimizing key revenue levers across brands, channels, packs, and promotions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis across RMG pillars—pricing, promotions, PPA, mix, channel incentives, and trade terms—to guide commercial strategy.

  • Evaluate promotional activities by performing pre- and post-implementation assessments, including the calculation of Promotion ROI and effectiveness tracking.

  • Review discount and trade term structures to quantify working vs. non-working discounts and support performance efficiency reporting.

  • Explore brand, pack, and channel mix drivers to identify opportunities that improve Gross Profit through mix optimization.

  • Maintain high-quality financial and commercial data standards, ensuring reliable datasets for RMG analysis, KPIs tracking, and construction of Gross Profit RMG Bridge models.

  • Develop insight-driven proposals and scenario models, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to convert analytics into actionable RMG strategies.

  • Apply advanced data analytics to address complex business issues and inform strategic decisions; produce executive-level reports and presentations to influence stakeholders and embed RMG capabilities across the business.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in a data-centric or analytical role.

  • Experience as a data analyst or business analyst is an added advantage.

  • Relevant accounting or audit certifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a strong plus, especially internationally recognized credentials.

  • A Master’s Degree will be an additional advantage.


Technical & Functional Competencies
