Role Overview
H. Pierson Associates is seeking a proactive and highly organised Public Course Desk Officer to manage and coordinate all activities related to the company’s public training programs. The ideal candidate will oversee participant engagement, ensure smooth program logistics, support promotional activities, and contribute to the growth of the firm’s learning and development portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Update and manage the annual schedule of public training programs.

Register participants and maintain detailed attendance and participation records.

Prepare learning materials, certificates, badges, and all related training documentation.

Coordinate with facilitators and ensure all logistics—including venue setup, equipment, and refreshments—are adequately arranged.

Track training performance, analyse feedback, and generate evaluation summaries.

Handle client inquiries received by phone, email, or walk-ins regarding available courses.

Send joining instructions, program updates, and reminders to registered participants.

Maintain a comprehensive client database, including companies and individual participants.

Follow up on leads and prospective participants to secure bookings.

Support sales and marketing efforts for upcoming programs across digital and offline platforms.

Assist in creating flyers, brochures, and promotional content for training courses.

Ensure training schedules and updates are visible on the company website and social media channels.

Process payments and properly document registration fees.

Work with the finance team to reconcile payments and issue receipts.

Generate weekly and monthly reports on participation, revenue performance, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with management to design and enhance training systems and processes.
Required Qualifications & Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline; minimum of a 2:1 from a reputable institution.

Additional degrees or HR/L&D certifications are an added advantage.

At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with competence in curriculum development.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding executive-level sales or enrollment targets.

Strong B2B business development capabilities and experience engaging corporate clients.

Excellent presentation skills, business writing ability, and communication proficiency.

Experience working with clients in Financial Services, Technology, or the Energy sector.

Strong networking skills and ability to engage high-level stakeholders.

Prior involvement in coordinating or delivering board-level training is a plus.
