Business Development Executive at Felton Energy Services Limited (FESL)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Purpose

  • The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving growth by identifying and securing opportunities within the oil & gas sector, with a strong focus on pipeline projects and NAPIMS, NUIMS-related deals.
  • This role requires a proactive individual who can build strategic relationships, manage client engagements, and contribute to Felton’s long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in pipeline projects and EPCM services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, OEMs, and regulatory bodies (NAPIMS, NUIMS experience required).
  • Monitor and identify RFPs, RFQs, and tender opportunities; assist in bid preparation and proposal development.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Represent Felton at industry events, exhibitions, and forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client interactions, and pipeline reports in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and project execution.
  • Support the creation and execution of business development strategies to expand Felton’s market presence.
  • Engage in negotiations and assist in structuring deals to secure profitable contracts.

Requirements
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience & Skills:

  • 3–5 years proven experience in Business Development within oil & gas, EPCM, and pipeline sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with NAPIMS, NUIMS processes and securing approvals.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian oil & gas regulatory environment and industry dynamics.
