Job Description
- As Key Account Manager, Advertising, you will serve as the primary liaison between our key account clients and internal teams, driving revenue growth through strategic advertising campaigns.
What you will be doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Key Account Managers and clients for all matters related to Jumia Advertising Solutions (JAS)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal KAMs and key clients to ensure continuous, recurring, and growing advertising business
- Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and client satisfaction
- Prepare comprehensive campaign reports and performance presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing key accounts to maximize advertising revenue
- Stay updated on digital advertising trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to provide strategic guidance to clients
- Lead end-to-end campaign planning for key accounts, including receiving briefs from KAMs/clients, developing campaign strategies, and negotiating campaign terms and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ad Operations, Creative, Analytics, Sales) to plan, execute, and report on campaigns in a timely and effective manner
- Drive campaign performance by monitoring and optimizing key KPIs through daily campaign management and regular alignment with Ad Ops, KAMs, and clients
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital advertising, account management, or online marketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets from multiple sources and translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent relationship management skills with experience working across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Brand DNA sensitivity and understanding of brand positioning.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace advertising is a strong advantage
- 6-8 years of proven experience managing multi-channel online marketing campaigns with strong understanding of marketing KPIs and campaign budget management
- Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, ad formats, and performance metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, etc.)
